Avocet® PLX (active ingredient: 54-percent glyphosate) is an EPA-registered systemic herbicide that provides excellent control of emergent weeds (cattail, reeds, water lillies) in all flowing or non-flowing fresh and brackish water. Avocet PLX can also be used on shorelines, landscapes, turf and non-crop areas, even native habitats. As part of the NexGen line of enhanced post-patent chemistries, Avocet PLX uses only the best active ingredients and improved manufacturing processes. General Application
Applications should be as spray-to-wet, with complete and uniform coverage. When less than complete coverage is expected, use a 5% Avocet PLX solution for control of annual and perennial weeds, and 5–8% solution for woody brush and trees. In accordance with label instructions, Avocet PLX may also be applied as a wick/ wiper or cut-stump treatment (50–100% solution) or injected treatment (25–100% solution) on nuisance woody brush.
